4-Insects, Science & Society; History to 1876; Bus 150; Bus 100; Geology of Earth; Math 117 and 118
5-I am not working any hours right now, but I plan on finding an on campus job.
6-I chose CSU because it was in-state and cheap. My original choice was DePaul University in Chicago, IL, but after a while I realized that CSU was going to be a better choice. I am staying in the state I love, I am still close to family, and the academics are still great and will help me with my careers later on in life.
7- I chose a business major because I want to go into Management and hopefully own my own company. My parents owned their own store and because of that I decided that going into business was what I wanted to do. I love working with money, and with a degree in business and owning my own company, I am hoping that one day I will have enough money to have a large house, own many cars, and have a happy life.
8-I love to spend my free time off-roading in the mountains and on trails.
9-I don't really know anyone from the class, but I do know that there are two people from Corbett that are in the class.
10-I do not know any of the faculty members in the college of business.
11-I am slightly interested in Study Abroad. I think that on one hand it would be an extremely exciting experience, meeting new people, and learning about a new culture. On the other hand, it would be harder to transition from American education to another country's. Also, you are farther from home and you would most likely not know anyone.

13-What are the benefits of choosing my concentration as Management?
Part 2-
When I think about what I am good at, the first thing that comes to mind is that I am very persistent with what ever I am doing. If I am working on a project, or just hanging out with my friends, I am adiment on getting things done. This would be a good strength for working in management becuase if there is a deadline or something similar to that, I would get it done as quick as I could. Other things that I come to mind when I think about what I am good at is talking, spending, and being friendly. Talking would be a good strength for my concentration because it would help with customer ineraction. I would always be able to talk to customers and have real conversations with them which would help in sales because I am not strictly trying to have them buy my product. Being friendly is another strength that would go hand in hand with talking because I would be able to talk to my customers and employees with confidence, not being shy or being mean, and really making them feel welcomed and not being pushed. Weaknesses that I would have while going into business is that I am sometimes impatient. Being impatient would not help me if I am trying to sell a customer a product, because if they do not want to buy right away or want to think about it for a while, I would not give them adequate time to make a decision. Another weakness that I would have when going into business management is that I am a perfectionist. Having this attribute is not always great because sometimes it's ok if everything is not going the exact way that I would like it, and it's okay to make mistakes.
I am not considering Accounting as my concentration because I am not the best with numbers. I know that in accounting or being an accountant, numbers are essential. I am also not really interested in accounting because I don't know that much about it. I know about the numbers, but that is really it. Information that I would like to know about accounting is what exactly it entails. What careers are offered with accounting degrees? How much money would one make? What are good qualities to have? With those questions answered I would be able to make a better decision on if I still don't want Accounting as my concentration.
I am considering Management as my concentration as of right now. I love being in charge and knowing what is going on. I am an excellent leader and joined many clubs in high school where I was the manager or commissioner. When I was working at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Colorado Springs, I became an assistant manager for a few weeks. It fascinated me about all the things that go into being a manager. It is not just bossing employees around. There is paperwork, communications, ordering, scheduling, etc., that are all things I enjoyed. Questions that I have about management as a concentration is how successful can one be with this? What opportunities are available? and what careers are opened up to a person who graduates with this concentration?
Marketing is a concentration that I would change to if I were not going for management. I would choose this as a second choice because I feel that this is something that opens up a lot of careers that pay well for someone. I like to know about markets and money, but am still not that great with numbers, so this is the main reason I am not choosing this as my concentration. If I become a little better with numbers I might consider changing to marketing. Questions I would have about this concentration is what is available for someone in marketing? and how far can they get with this as a concentration?
I am not considering Computer Information Systems as a concentration because I really don't know anything about computers. I also don't much about this concentration which raises a lot of questions for me. What careers are offered? How much could you make? What exactly would you do? Does it require a lot of math skills? What are good qualities to have if you are going to have this as a concentration?
Finance is another concentration that I am not considering because I am not entirely sure what is available with it. I am unsure about careers that are available, and how much you could make. I am also horrible with my own finances that I would most likely not be great at dealing with other peoples' finances. Questions about finance is what one does with this degree? What are the careers that are available with finance?
Real Estate is a strange concentration to me. It has to be a lot more work than just knowing how to sell a house or other building. With that in mind, I would like to know more about real estate. If the concentration that I have chosen for now fails or I turn out to not like it, real estate is something that I would definately consider. I love houses and I love selling, so this could be a great thing to choose, but because I am not sure about all of it, I have questions. What all is offered in real estate? What are classes that should be taken? What are the available careers, and how much does someone in real estate typically make?
My four letter are ESFJ. Careers that it suggest I might be interested in is teaching, nursing, real estate, physician, and respiratory therapist.
My two colors are yellow and green. The careers it suggest to me are accountant, astronomer, small business owner, consultant, and food service manager.
When I took the two quizzes I learned a lot about myself that I have never considered. I now look at myself as the guardian and realize that I actually do have a lot of the attributes of what the two tests described me as. I do like to take control and provide for the general welfare for people, which is why I am described as the "provider". They also suggest that someone of this type can sometimes be easily wounded, and act off of those emotions, which in a lot of cases I actually do, but I never realized it. I agree with the tests in that this is the way I typically think of myself. I see me as a provider and I enjoy taking care of people, even if it is a different career from management.
The personalities do not really match the careers I was thinking about. I am looking more for a general manager or supervisor, but they are suggesting eduation and health. Small business owner was listed as a possible career which is not too far off from what I would like to do, but I have never considered going into elementary teaching or becoming a nurse. I do like helping people though, and those would be pretty fun careers if I decided to take that path. By taking these two personality tests they opened up a couple new ideas for me and choosing my concentration. One of concentrations that I may look into is real estate because it suggested that as a possible career for me. Accounting is the other concentration that I may look into because of the careers it listed, but management is still the concentration that I would like to stick with.
